Zhiggie is a Parisian house of high-end women’s ready-to-wear, founded in 2021 by Claire Hirsch. It designs a dressy summer wardrobe, made in Paris in small runs and presented in its boutiques in Saint-Tropez and in Gustavia, Saint Barthélemy.
The Designer
Claire Hirsch is a French designer born in 1991. She grew up surrounded by architects, painters and pianists. Her years of classical ballet shaped her eye for line, proportion and movement.
Self-taught, she founded Zhiggie in Paris in 2021. The name echoes Ziggy Stardust, David Bowie’s stage persona. She sees in him a femininity chosen rather than prescribed.
The Silhouette
Zhiggie’s summer wardrobe cultivates a femininity poised between the codes of childhood and restrained sensuality. Gingham and tartan, Peter Pan collars framing open necklines, matching sets that play with proportions.
The House
The first silhouettes already carry the light of Saint-Tropez. The house opens a boutique there in May 2022, then a second in Gustavia, Saint Barthélemy, in November 2026.
The pieces are designed and made in Paris in small runs, with artisans who have worked with the house from the beginning. Signature styles return year after year in new fabrics and colors.
