Why do we ask for your SSN for U.S. orders?
Each piece from our collections exceeds the thresholds defined by U.S. Customs for simplified clearance. As a result, we are required to collect a Social Security Number (SSN) for deliveries to the United States.
According to 19 CFR § 143.21(a) (U.S. Code of Federal Regulations), informal entry is allowed for shipments under $2,500, except when an individual item exceeds $250 and falls under Chapter 99 of the Harmonized Tariff Schedule (covering textiles and luxury goods). In those cases, a formal entry is required, and U.S. Customs requests a SSN for identification purposes.

Thank you for your understanding and trust.
